Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Tobias Keene brings a bit of unabashed Southern hospitality to all his patients. He moved to Washington, D.C. over thirty years ago as a freshman at Ivy College. Right after graduation, he attended World University’s School of Dentistry. Before opening Keene Dental in 1994, he worked for free clinics and some of the finest practices in the District. He is part of the 123 Dental Association and stays up-to-date on the latest dental discoveries. Oliver won the Swedish Submission Wrestling championship as a blue belt in 2017 beating several black belts in the process. In 2021 he took home the silver medal in true Craig Jones style in the Swedish National Championships in BJJ. You’ll see him teaching the SW-classes together with Mattias but he frequents teaching in the Gi as well when he’s not kicking everyones ass. When he’s not at the gym he works as a fire fighter. He walks around in t-shirts with Stockton Jiu Jitsu prints and tries not to get submitted by Oliver and Peter. Mattias works as a music teacher and when he’s not teaching music he indie-pop-rocks as a singer with Swedish band Kid Galahad. Emil is the BOSS (Chairman of the board) of our association and helps out when he’s needed as an instructor. Emil works at AB Bostäder in Borås and attends classes as long as his knees, kids and wife allows it!
